Outerwear
Outerwear’s main function is
to keep you dry on those rainy days, without building up
too much humidity within the garment or inhibiting your
freedom of movement.
Jackets
- Waterproof
breathable laminates and coatings (e.g. Gore-tex,
HyVent, Conduit) help dryness on the outside and
inside.
- Pit-zips or
core-vents give added breathability through
ventilation.
- North Face and
Columbia offer the ability to zip in your favorite
fleece for insulation purposes.
- Soft shells – A new
concept in outerwear and layering: providing added
breathability, stretch and comfort while still
providing water and wind protection.

Pants
