You can always add warmth by adding a garment.

Layering

The idea when wicking is to move moisture away from your body and through your clothing into the outside. Synthetic fabrics such as Polyester are water phobic therefore dry very quickly. This not only helps you move moisture away from your body, but also gives you a quick wash time for those longer trips.

Fleece

  • Ranging from 50 weight to 300 weight Fleece
  • Fleece is superior to cotton or wool because it weighs less and compresses smaller and dries quicker.
  • Windstopper laminates makes the fleece windproof and more water resistant
  • Softshell fleece are generally windproof and highly water resistant with a slicker feeling outer face. These fleece work well as a mid layer and an outer layer.
  • A windproof mid-layer stops the transition of insulating air from escaping and adds an element of warmth without effecting breathability

Underwear

  • • Ranging from Coolmax briefs to powerstretch pants.
