Stop by our shop for all of your outdoor recreation and travel needs. We are
conveniently located in the heart of downtown White Plains, NY, at 175 East Post
Road between Mamaroneck Avenue and Waller Avenue.
Take the Sprain Parkway North
to 287 East. Follow to exit 8W
(White Plains Westchester Mall). Make a left
off of the exit ramp, and then make the first
right onto Maple Avenue. Go down 5 blocks, then
make a right onto Mamaroneck Avenue. Make a
right onto East Post Road and we are the 4th
store on the right.
Take the Hutchinson River
Parkway North to the Mamaroneck
Avenue exit (White Plains). Follow Mamaroneck
Avenue several miles into downtown White
Plains. After passing the YMCA on your left and
the Fire Department on your right, cross Maple
Avenue and make your first right onto East Post
Rd (Kinkos is on the corner). Our store is the
fifth on the right. Pass us and make a right
onto Waller Avenue for parking.
Take the Henry Hudson Parkway
North to the Saw Mill Parkway North.
Take the Saw Mill Parkway to 87 North and
follow to 287 East. Follow directions
from Sprain Parkway, above.
From Rockland, New Jersey, and points West
Take the Tappan Zee Bridge
to 287 East. Follow directions from Sprain Parkway, above.From Connecticut and points East
Take the Merritt Parkway or the
Hutchinson River Parkway South to 287 West. Follow to exit 8
(Bloomingdale Road / The Westchester Mall). Bear left off of the exit ramp onto
Westchester Avenue (sign says Route 119, White Plains). Make a left at the
second light (in front of the Westchester Mall) onto Bloomingdale Road. Make a
right at the second light onto Maple Avenue.
Go down 5 blocks, then make a
right onto Mamaroneck Avenue. Make a right onto East Post Road and we are the
4th store on the right.Take 95 to 287 West. Follow
directions as above.
Take 684 to 287 West. Follow Directions as
above.
From Northern Westchester, Putnam, and points
North
Take the Taconic Parkway South to the Sprain
Parkway. Follow directions from Sprain Parkway,
above.
Take the Saw Mill Parkway South to 287 East.
Follow directions from Sprain Parkway, above.
If you Cannot Find Parking
Make a right on Waller and a municipal lot will
be on the right.

Store Policies
You may return any item(s) purchased from
American Terrain for store credit or exchange
within 30 days of the original sale date,
provided the item(s) are in new condition.
American Terrain may choose not to accept
merchandise returned in damaged or otherwise
unsaleable condition, or to impose a restocking
fee for any merchandise returned incomplete or
used. Such a fee, if charged, will be deducted
from your store credit amount.
Due to safety concerns, American Terrain cannot
accept returns of climbing equipment, with the
following exceptions only: Climbing shoes,
chalkbags and chalkbag belts, and chalk.
Return Procedure
Returns will not be accepted unless
accompanied by a valid Return Authorization (RA)
number issued by American Terrain.
To obtain an RA number, please call us at (914)
682-3971 as soon as possible after you decide to
return any part of your shipment. Please have
the packing slip you received with your order
available when you call.
Once we have issued you an RA number, you
may return the item(s) to us for return
processing. Returns shipped more than 10
business days after an RA is issued will not be
accepted without prior approval of American
Terrain.
Package the item(s) to be returned
securely in a sturdy box. Wrap fragile items in
newspaper or bubble wrap to protect them.
Include inside the package:
The item(s) to be returned
A copy of the original packing slip you
received with your order
The type of credit card you used to pay for the
order, the credit card number you used, the
card's expiration date, and the complete billing
name and address of the card.
The RA number American Terrain issued to you
Be sure the package is well sealed with tape.
IMPORTANT: WRITE THE RA NUMBER
LEGIBLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE. PACKAGES
WITHOUT VISIBLE RA NUMBERS ON THEM WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE SENDER.

Refunds will be issued as a credit to
the original card used to make the purchase
only, and will reflect The purchase price of the
returned item(s)
